Kashmir Oriental Carpet Enterprises has its presence all across the exclusive hand-made carpet industry ranging from the high quality wool carpets, deftly created superb wool/silk blends, the epitome of luxury - pure silk carpets and a wide portfolio of hand-woven, hand-spun shawls and stoles in a range of fibers like pure wool, toosha (fine Cashmere) to the rare and soft Pashmina. The company specializes in customized solutions for all carpet needs of the elusive requirements of the buyer. We offer a one-stop shop where the buyer can methodically choose a design, colors, quality, category, size and even shape to create a unique masterpiece that would be as individual as his own persona.

The intricate procedure of creatively designing the patterns, combining the perfect color scheme and accomplishing a perfect blend of high quality raw materials and labor takes place at our in-house looms spread in diverse regions of Kashmir in North India. Here, our creative teams amalgamate age-old motifs with contemporary colors that are truly a blend of different eras yet are in step with emerging home d�cor trends. Firstly the patterns are chosen after a careful evaluation of precise customer requirements and preferences. Almost always the patterns are re-discovered by sorting through old manuscripts, carvings, paintings, carpets and even palace architecture amongst other sources. The design then passes through a series of inspections that are precisely conducted by master artists after which the motif is designated as a carpet design. This design is then explored with various combinations of colors ranging from traditional, oriental reds and blues to subtle, pastel shades of ivory, aqua and olives. This critical aspect of carpet manufacturing is assigned to a master carpet designer who is trained in a reputed textile & fabric institute specializing in this department. After selecting the design and colors the carpet is then created in the requisite quality as per requirement of the buyer. Sophisticated shipping logistics that employ automated warehousing and conveying techniques guarantee optimum goods flow management throughout the process chain. Our quality control management oversees the entire production process and ensures that our high quality standards are maintained - from the selection of suppliers and procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the finished collection to the online store.
